How to Setup a Button for Donations

Your work is finally on Caachi - now let the people support you with cash. Set yourself up with a PayPal, Google Checkout, or other payment service account that allows you to create "donation button" on Caachi where your video is shown. Let your viewers show how much they really appreciate your video with their donations to you!

Steps to create PayPal Donation button

1. Sign up with PayPal if you don’t have an existing account.
   
2. After signing-up, log-on to PayPal (you will be on your “Personal Account Overview” page).
3. Click on “Merchant Services” at the top left side of the “Personal Account Overview” page
4. On the "Merchant Services" page, click on “Donations” which is in the right column under “Key Features.”
5. On the “Donations” page, choose what type of “donate” button you want to use (see middle of the page). Then click on “Create Button Now” at the bottom of the page (we suggest you don’t change anything else on the page).
6. On the “Add button to your website” page, copy the HTML code that is in the box. Make sure you copy all of it.
7. Go back to the "Edit Caachi Video" page on Caachi and paste the copied code into the "Donation Link" field.

No. Donations go directly to your account with your payment service provider. Typically, your payment service provider will charge a transaction fee.
