“BeatMakers”, documents the never
ending hustle of up-and-coming as well as seasoned producers.

Filmed
inside their home studios, these hungry musicians aspire to obtain
more equipment, sell their hot tracks, and, of course, make a name for
themselves in the competitive music industry.

The film follows
a plethora of track masters in various stages of their careers
including newcomer Justin “J Dot” Moyd, a 23 year-old college student who
nears graduation, as he assembles his production center, works with
aspiring recording artists and puts together his first professional
demo package.

We also see a group of savvy producers, called 'Battery Five', combine
their collective efforts, and discuss their trials and
tribulations. We witness their relentless pursuit to create a "movement" and be
recognized in such a tumultuous business.

The film provides a
behind-the-scenes forum for composers to get a lot off their chests and
discuss their unbridled passion for making music all with a steadfast
belief that the 'next' track will be the one to take them to the ‘next’
level!

The award winning short film, "Travelin' Trains," is the story of Sam in search of his father, "The Snowman," in depression-era
Georgia, and the blues music that united and separated him from his
search. The truth to the railroad warning that "hobo legends ain't the
same as book legends," becomes painfully clear to young Sam in his
journey through the music of a generation living the blues.

The film
aired nationally on the Arts & Entertainment Network. "I still show
this film because I believe it to be the best example of my work as an
artist and filmmaker. It is the only film that I have done which was
completely my vision. I take the blame for the mistakes and the credit
for the successes," explains the director, Eric Mofford.

Skid Row is available for purchase on the Caachi website.

Skid Row is a 50 square block area in downtown Los Angeles where an average of 100,000 homeless and transient people live on any given night.

In SKID ROW, Pras Michel - of the hip-hop group The Fugees - lives on the streets of Skid Row for 9 days and nights as a homeless person. The entire time he and the filmmakers are undercover, using surveillance cameras in an area where cameras present a threat to anonymity. His goal: to find out what it really means to be homeless, and to put a human face on an issue that has plagued our country for generations. His journey is riddled with hunger, exposure to the elements, criminals, drugs and danger. Pras learns not only how to fend for himself, but discovers the dangerous, very human and, at times, humorous underbelly of Los Angeles.
