24 Hours on Craigslist is available for purchase on the Caachi website.

The community website Craigslist.org has become one of the most popular sites on the Internet, boasting 10 million active users and 3 billion page views per month. "24 Hours on Craigslist" documents a random day-in-the-life on Craigslist.com in San Francisco, which has evolved into the world's largest community board since 1995.

On this day of August 4, 2003:

An Ethel Merman drag queen searches for the perfect backup band for her
Led
Zeppelin covers. A suburban professional woman assembles a diabetic cat
support group. A couple seeks the perfect rabbi for their marriage. A
would-be mother
finds her ideal sperm donor. Doors for sale, one night stands,
compulsive
roommates, transsexual erotic services. The mundane and the sublime, the
ridiculous and the profound, all come together to paint a portrait of a
thriving, humanistic community in the midst of an ever-accelerating
culture.

A mother of two returns to her home and children in Bolivia
after 15 years of working in Israel to make a better life for her kids, only to find
her family members have become strangers. "A Working Mom" is a story that
demonstrates the extremes that individuals will go to in order to save
their families -- sometimes saving and losing them in the same act.

"Abel Raises Cain" is an unprecedented glimpse into the life and bizarre
career of Alan Abel, the infamous underground media prankster. He has
made a name for himself several times over with stunts that are just
ridiculous enough to be believable, especially to a media that feeds on
salacious, far-fetched stories.

In this loving portrait of an eccentric
father, Alan's daughter, Jenny, tells her firsthand account of what it
was like growing up with a prankster. "Abel Raises Cain" takes the
audience on a roller coaster ride through the myriad of elaborate
hoaxes and schemes that Abel pulled off over the years, all of which
were designed to provoke and amuse...while at the same time, make
people question everything that they see, hear and read.

Almost Myself is available for purchase on the Caachi website. "Almost Myself" introduces us to multiple members of the transgender
community including a gay man wanting to reverse his surgery that
biologically made him a women, a woman living as a female but still
having a penis, and a former college football player finally living her
life as a woman. The stories in "Almost Myself" include journeys of
boyhood to womanhood and the struggles of mending and transcending
gender.

Variety says "The latest chapter in Tom Murray's easygoing exploration of lesbian, gay, transgendered and bisexual issues, "Almost Myself," finds the filmmaker traveling across the country talking to various transgendered men-to-women. Neither militant nor "objective," and without a shred of pretension, Murray admits he is interviewing a limited range of people "... almost like myself" -- white, over 40, and labeled male at birth. He elicits remarkable candor in his subjects, illuminating a wide spectrum of choices and lifestyles."

“BeatMakers”, documents the never

inside their home studios, these hungry musicians aspire to obtain
more equipment, sell their hot tracks, and, of course, make a name for
themselves in the competitive music industry.

The film follows
a plethora of track masters in various stages of their careers
including newcomer Justin “J Dot” Moyd, a 23 year-old college student who
nears graduation, as he assembles his production center, works with
aspiring recording artists and puts together his first professional
demo package.

We also see a group of savvy producers, called 'Battery Five', combine
their collective efforts, and discuss their trials and
tribulations. We witness their relentless pursuit to create a "movement" and be
recognized in such a tumultuous business.

The film provides a
behind-the-scenes forum for composers to get a lot off their chests and
discuss their unbridled passion for making music all with a steadfast
belief that the 'next' track will be the one to take them to the ‘next’
level!

Dat Kho - Land of Sorrows is available for purchase on the Caachi website.

Dat Kho (Land of Sorrows), a 1970s foreign, English-subtitled film, starring the beloved Vietnamese iconic songwriter/poet/painter Trinh Cong Son (1939-2001) in what may be his only starring movie role, dramatizes the effect of the Vietnam War on a single South Vietnamese family, the inner conflict of decisions by each member of the family whether to remain in Vietnam or leave with the imminent fall of the city of Hue and eventual fall of Vietnam.

It compresses three seminal events of the Vietnam war: (1) the Buddhist uprising in Hue during 1965; (2) the Tet Offensive in 1968; and (3) the 1972 "Summer of Fire". It includes real footage of refugees fleeing the North Vietnamese' Easter Offensive of 1972.

With that real war footage serving as the backdrop, "Dat Kho" is a story of the love of family, homeland, and culture and language of Vietnam. It also is about the ethereal love of the ingenue daughter for her fiance, foiled by the antagonistic forces of the ever-present war. It is thought-provoking, and at the same time it directly relates to present day conflicts such as the Gulf War and Iraq. It challenges the reasons for foreign involvement in essentially a civil war and questions the lessons learned or that should have been learned.

What would you do if you discovered that 13 people slated for execution had been found innocent? That was exactly the question that Illinois Governor George Ryan faced in his final days in office. Deadline is a compelling look insider America’s prisons, highlighting one man’s unlikely and historic actions against the system.

With astounding access to hearings, Death Row prisoners, exonerated men and Governor Ryan himself, Deadline,
brings us directly into the emotional and legal storm surrounding
Ryan’s impending decision. Viewers are pulled into the story as
families exchange pleas for forgiveness or revenge; as an exonerated
man in Florida tries to pull the pieces of his shattered life back
together; and as a man reflects on his crime and the consequences. The
filmmakers also shed light on the United States’ complicated
relationship with the death penalty, using archival flashbacks to the
landmark decisions and capital punishment policies implemented in the
1970’s that brought the U.S.—and Governor Ryan—to where they are today.
