Submit your shorts, documentaries, and feature length films to be part of Caachi's curated collection of award-winning independent films.

Show Your Films as Downloaded Video, Streamed Video, or Both!

• Downloaded video: Viewers get DVD-resolution films in multiple formats, playable on the computer, TV, and personal media players (e.g., video iPod & iPhone).
  
• Streamed video: Viewers watch your film immediately after buying it. Films are streamed to their computers and are copy-protected.
  
• Offer both: Let your fans both stream and download your film.
  



Revenue Share & Terms

• Get 75% of the sales revenue, with no expenses deducted
  
• Non-exclusive agreement (so you can work with other distributors).
  
• You can remove your film from Caachi at any time (so we don't lock you into a contract term).
  
• You retain all ownership rights.
• You set the selling price for your film (minimum of $0.99).
  
• Caachi can restrict sales to certain countries using IP address filtering technology.
  
• Caachi helps market the film online.
• Payments sent in 1st week of month, along with an email summarizing film sales.

Get Started

1. Register.


2. Then send us your film & trailer (encoded in Motion JPEG or MJPEG). See Sending Your Film Assets below.


3. The trailer (or a 30 - 90 second film clip) should be 640x480 or larger. We'll stream the trailer on the site since it is critical for selling your film.


4. We'll review your film and let you know whether we want to distribute it.

5. If your film is on Caachi, remember to let your friends, family and fans know it. Use the Vidget, which is on each film page. Also check out our marketing recommendations!

Sending Your Film Assets


Mail or upload your film assets.

1. Mail
Mail us a DVD & Quicktime (640x480) trailer of your film. Send to:

2. Upload
Upload your film & trailer using Podmailing - a simple, free software program that has no file size limits on what you send. The film and trailer (both should be at least 640x480) preferably should be encoded in Apple Motion JPEG A or Quicktime.


• Download and install Podmailing (www.podmailing.com/download.html).
  
• Open Podmailing and place either your file or folder (if you're sending multiple files) into the big blue circle with the envelope.
• In the "Send the podmail to" field, write films@caachi.com
• In the Message field, feel free to write a message or your contact information in case we need to reach you
  
• In the "Keep files up to" field, choose "1 week"
  
• Then click the "Send my podmail".
• Wait until the upload has completed and then we'll email you when we've downloaded the files.
  

Please note that due to the number of films submissions we review, any materials submitted to Caachi will not be returned.
