The Miro video player is a free program that you can download and install on your Mac or PC. It is an open source video player that can play most video file formats. Once installed, it can handle the downloading and playback of the films found on Caachi. If you don't have it yet, click on the Miro icon.
That said, Caachi believes in choice. You can use a different video player if you wish; for more details look below in the Technical Details section.
Video File Formats
To support as many media players as possible, Caachi provides film (video) files in the following formats:- Xvid for playback on DivX/Xvid compatible players (DVD players, PMPs, computers)
- H.264 for playback on a video iPod and iPhone
Our films are DRM free. You are free to view our films whenever and wherever you want to. Watch films on your computer. Or burn them to a DVD and watch them on a DivX/Xvid enabled player connected to your TV. Or portable media player. Or cell phone.

Caachi uses the BitTorrent Peer-to-Peer filesharing protocol to download DVD-resolution films to your computer. Caachi both seeds and tracks torrent files (files with a .torrent extension) for the films that we offer; we support any BitTorrent compatible client.Once the film is downloaded you can use any video player that supports the video file formats listed above.
