Plot OutlineA tender, inspirational documentary about a queer Korean adoptee's healing journey through music, breath, and spirit. Amber Field was born in Korea in 1975 and adopted by a European American woman. She had a relatively care-free childhood growing up with her adoptive family in Korea, Nepal, and Liberia, but then experienced racism and homophobia when she moved to the midwestern United States in 1986. During her twenties, Amber discovered music in India, and now performs all over the world addressing issues of transnational/transracial adoption and sexuality. Through photos, performance clips, nature scenes, and interviews, Amber shares her transformative stories. |
