Filmmaker Notes
Director Roger Ingraham, at 20 years old, shot his first full-length film, "Moonshine", for a budget of $9200. His two years prior to the production were spent writing the script and researching how to shoot a quality full-length film with a very limited budget. "Moonshine" blends genres with elements of the character-driven drama as well as the vampire film. It separates itself from the senseless action, gore, and guts of recent blockbuster releases. Instead, using this small-town story as a backdrop, Moonshine strives to illustrate a trapped society asleep at the wheel, headed for a dead-end, and in for a disastrous awakening. Related Films
